That’s not just a car – that’s a legendary DeLorean DMC-12! When I was a kid and since I watched Back to the Future I have been dreaming about to drive that car. And thanks to the owner not long ago I’ve got a chance even to shoot that movie star. Some words from the owner:
Like all kids that grew up in the 70’s and 80’s I really enjoyed Back To The Future and the DeLorean. I actually went to the cinema and saw it on big screen when it was released the first time. It was not until 2008 when I started to travel to the United States that I got to see a DeLorean in the flesh. The first one I saw was a Gold plated one in Reno Nevada. After spotting two or three cars over 4 or 5 trips to the USA I went about asking people how to import cars. Long story short it was easy to do and the price was right, and shortly after I was the owner of a ‘one owner’ 40000 mile car from Seattle Washington. The car arrived in Australia in September 2011 and has been awesome ever since. There are 6 presently in Adelaide and about 40 or so in Australia out of the 9000 that John Z DeLorean built in Dunmurry (Ireland) through 1981 and 1982. It truly is a timeless stainless steel beauty with the unique gull wing doors. My DeLorean is in all original condition and will stay as it is.
